TGCT caters for Muslims who want to enjoy a holiday and does not want to worry about having to look for halaal foods. We can assure the tourist that a lot of care is taken when arranging Halaal meals.

On our data base of restaurants we can assure the guests that all are strictly halaal. There is also the international quick foods take – aways for example: Macdonalds, Kentucky, Pizzas which are all Halaal Certified.

There is also a selection of guesthouses (lodges) that are self catering. Halaal meat is easily obtainable and should pose no problem for those who want to cook their own meals.

These eating and accommodation facilities is a 10 minute walk from the city centre. The Waterfront which attracts more tourist than any holiday destination in South Africa is right on the door step of the Bo–Kaap (formerly known as the Malay Quarter). This area has a very rich history and the community still has a lot of cultural and local cuisine to offer.

The 2010 World Cup stadium where the semi–final will be played, is with in walking distance from the Bo–Kaap. It is for this reason that you will have to reserve your accommodation in advance to secure your place.
